The Wise Old Owl Amidst an Absorbed Society

The Wise Old Owl

A wise old owl lived in an oak
The more he saw the less he spoke
The less he spoke the more he heard.
Why can't we all be like that wise old bird?

Owls are quite phenomenal creatures--no wonder they're so TrEnDy!
It's really quite ironic that in Western culture, owls are a symbol of Wisdom--maybe people are trying to acquire some wisdom via osmosis?

So many have lost what it is to truly perceive and understand the world, as it exists around us, which is pretty much what defines WISDOM....To fully realize where they are, what they are experiencing, how their bodies and minds are reacting.  It's simply amazing to see a population be ridden with some plague-like disorder: the inability to gain wisdom/understanding/true knowledge as a result of technology....little, tiny pieces of technology, although the larger ones play a part as well.  So many are constantly consuming, making the consumed nearly meaningless (our minds can't keep up).  So many are absorbed into their technology; abandoning the reality in which they are physically existing in.  So freakish.  I hope osmosis works, so we can have society back....one that we can be proud of.
